i read “a funny thing happened on the way to the future...(michael j. fox)” today. i usually read business books, but this is not a business book. when i visited a library, this book was put in a newly published book shelves. there are only 100 pages^^ so i thought i can read it easily. unlike business books, there are relatively many unknown words for me.^^; i just guessed the meaning of such words and i finished reading this book. i like “back to the future” very much, but i did not know much about michael j. fox. i knew that he got a parkinson’s disease but i did not know that he was born in canada. i was very very impressed with one thing in this book. he likes to read books. he dropped out from a high school, but he loved to read books, so after he came to california at the age of 18, he visited a library and checked out books. he wrote “i couldn’t afford to buy books, but i couldn’t afford not to read books.”great!!(^^)(^^)(^^) yes, we have a library! even if we do not have much money, we can check out many books from a library. i believe that reading books is extremely good for our brain and reading books improves our brain activities. when we read books, we need to read words some of which are unknown for us, so we need to guess the meaning of such words. we need to understand the grammar. we need to understand the contents. and we need to visualize such contents in our brains. we do not do such things when we watch tv programs or movies. reading books has a special power to improve our brains!^^ let us read many books and improve our brains!^^

i am on a business trip today and i am writing this blog at motel room. i finished working at a customer factory and work at its cafeteria at 6:30pm. then, i moved to another location. it took about 2 hours, so i arrived at a motel at 8:30pm. i went to burger king^^ to buy a fish sandwich. it takes a long long time to get it. maybe very few people order a fish sandwich... i ate it at 9:00pm and i sent some business emails. how long am i working???^^; anyway, i am done today. i will watch ero^^ video and do masturbation^^ and go to sleep...

i took a toeic test today. toeic is an english comprehensive test. this test is extremely popular in japan. many japanese companies recommend its employees to take this tests and some companies require its managers to achieve certain level in this test. toyota requires employees who want to promote to a manager to take certain points. assistant manager must take 600 points at toyota. anyway, i went to gateway community and technology college to take this test. there are about 10 test takers and i think all of them are japanese.^^; when we began to take this test, alarm was sounding and announcement was repeated. “please pay attention. a fire was found in the building.” oh... we evacuated from the building. we cannot see the fire and smoke. we believed that it’s a wrong alarm. 5 minutes later, fire fighters arrived at the college. they enter the building and walked around there. 30 minutes later, they could not find a fire or smoke, so we entered the building and took the test. meanwhile, i had a light headache when i got up this morning. that headache became severe and after finishing the test, i got a big headache. after i went home, i took a medicine and went to sleep... my precious saturday was gone...^^; regarding the test, i felt defeated.^^; i felt my english has not improved at all. when i get a result, i will show my score on this blog.

i watched lost all day long today. then i checked out lost 6th season volume 4 and 5 and finished watching all episodes. i watched final episode today. in the newspaper, final episode was praised and it was stated that the final episode was a very good episode. i wanted to watch it, so i checked out lost and harried to watch many episodes. finally, today i watched the final episode. but... is it good???? i am sorry to say that for me, i do not think that the final episode is good. i like happy ending. but i do not think this is happy ending. i am disappointed. i know that my expectation was too big. so my disappointment was too big. anyway, i was disappointed with the final episode, but i enjoyed this drama very much. it was a nice english study material. it is much better to watch interesting drama to learn english than to watch boring drama. i will try to find next big thing... oops, next interesting drama.
