- Nepal flights to resume soon
China Eastern Airlines is resuming flights to the Nepali capital of Kathmandu from January 11.
The airline will fly on Kunming- Kathmandu-Kunming route three times a week using Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
Speaking at a press conference Monday, Zhao Dejian, station manager of the airlines in Kathmandu, said the airline will fly to Kathmandu on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

- Xiamen Airlines to expand air freight
China Southern Airlines announced Friday that it has approved its subsidiary Xiamen Airlines' signing of a $699-million aircraft purchase agreement with Boeing Co.
According to the agreement, Xiamen Airlines will acquire 10 planes of the 737 series from Boeing so as to meet the company's necessity for its business expansion.
By the end of 2010, Xiamen Airlines will be in possession of over 70 models and the number is expected to reach 130 by 2015, said the airliner.
