Automobili Lamborghini, the Italian manufacturer of luxury sports cars, will launch two more dealerships this year in western China's Chongqing and Kunming after its first store in that region in Chengdu.
The company reportedly sold 149 cars in the first eight months of this year, more than twice the number from the same period last year. China has become Lamborghini's second largest market.

- Myanmar pipeline to diversify energy sources

China National Petroleum Corporation will break ground on the Chinese end of a 771-kilometer-long pipeline to Myanmar Friday, the company said Monday on its website.
The Sino-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline will run from Kunming, capital of Yunnan Province to Kyaukryu Port, on the west coast of Myanmar.
Approved in 2007 by China's top economic planning body, the National Development and Reform Commission, the project started in June at Kyaukryu. Direct flights between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan could be expanded in some major Chinese cities, a senior advisor to the China Air Transport Association (CATA) said Tuesday.

China Eastern Airlines will launch new air service from the southwestern Chinese city of Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, to Dubai on Feb. 22, the company said Saturday.
