- Syrian president, Turkish FM pledge to promote bilateral ties
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the visiting Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu pledged Sunday to push the bilateral relations, saying the ties serve the interests of two peoples, the official ANA news agency reported.
During their meeting, the two sides discussed the latest regional developments, especially in the Palestinian territories, calling for immediate action to stop the repeated Israeli violations of the holy sites.
