- Myanmar exposed 216 drug-related cases in March
The Myanmar authorities exposed 216 drug-related cases, punishing 330 people, including 58 women, in March this year, the official newspaper New Light of Myanmar reported Friday.
Of the total, stimulant tablets cases topped the list with 58 while those of heroin 50, opium 45, and opium oil 8.
During the month, the authorities seized 155.5 kg of opium, 5.9 kg of opium oil, 1.58 kg of heroin, 21.8 kg of marijuana as well as 554,699 stimulant tablets, the report said.
