Tropical storm Nalgae brought flooding to Taiwan on Monday last week, with 103mm of rainfall recorded at Taidong in the south-east during the 12 hours to midday Monday. - 20 Thais dead in Nock-Ten-triggered flood
Thailand's Department of Disaster Mitigation and Protection said Sunday that some 20 people were dead in flood-stricken provinces in the northern, northeastern and central regions.
The report issued by the Department said 20 provinces (or one-fourth of the country) have been hit by the tropical storm, Nock- Ten, which entered the country on July 25.
A total of 314,732 households of 1.03 million people have been affected by the widespread flood or mudslides.
