a guy i talked after the gig was there because his friend loved them. he didn’t know much about the strangers and had the impression of big hits such as gb, peaches, always the sun. he was however very surprised and impressed by the wide range of music they played – from mellow to hard – and although his ultimate no.1 band was kiss, he thoroughly enjoyed the gig that night. i said to him that he should check out all the stranglers albums and he said “i sure will!”

at first, it’s nice to classify the countries as “japan” and “european countries” to understand the differences of the life style easily. actually i don’t know where the differences come from; from history? society? religion? climate? or geographical reason?, but let the discussion put aside this time, in reality, people put own priority on his/her quality time here in europe. the easiest distinction on this term would be “working time”. those who start working early start working at 6 a.m. go home at 3 p.m. to pass time with their family. note that “the more you work, the more you earn” doesn’t work in the countries is another big reason why people bring own way to home early. any way i don’t wonder that we japanese are described as worker drone. はじめに、異なる生活スタイルを簡単に理解するため、それらの国々を“日本”と“ヨーロッパ諸国”とに分類することにしよう
