we decided to go to the front and have fun, and took up position to the left of the stage, in front of jj and the speakers. i hardly could see ian from there but could hear that he was doing a great job - very tight and powerful drumming. on the whole, their performance got better day by day and the final day was the best. it was perfect – so it seemed to me – performance. dave’s fingers were smoothly swimming on the keyboards and he held his arms high with his thumb up many times to respond to the audience. baz and jj actually succeeded to head and kick the empty cup dave threw. towards the end of the gig, one of the security guys was checking out a particular spot in the audience again and again as the whole house got really excited. after a while jj walked to the front end of the stage and told him not to worry and calm down. jj was right. everyone was so excited and wild but we were just having fun. of course i had a shower of beer again. a girl standing next to me was wiping her hair as i did the same and when we looked at each other, we still both had big smiles on our faces.
