- Helicopter crash kills two in Russia's Siberia
A helicopter ferrying oil workers to a drilling site in Russian Siberia crashed Tuesday, killing two people and injuring 14 others, authorities said.
A spokesperson for the local Emergencies Ministry told the RIA Novosti news agency that 16 people, including three crew members, were aboard the Mi-8 helicopter when it crashed in the eastern Siberian region of Irkutsk.

The second section of the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline officially started welding on Thursday, said Russia's Vostochnaya oil company.
The first phase of the second section of ESPO project will construct eight pumping stations with a total oil storage of 300,000 cubic meters, while the storage capacity of stations at Skovorodino and Kozmino will be later enlarged with another 150,000 cubic meters.

- Russia to raise April oil export duty by 16 percent
Russia will raise its oil export duty by 16.08 percent in April, from 365 U.S. dollars per ton in March to up to 423.7 dollars, an official said on Tuesday.
According to Alexander Sakovich from the Russian Finance Ministry, the final oil export duty for April is based on the average price of the Urals crude oil from Feb. 15 to March 14, which stood at 108.16 dollars per barrel.

Russia's oil export duty may rise in November by 22.5-25.5 U.S. dollars per ton, to 289-292 dollars, the Finance Ministry said Tuesday.
In October, the monthly-adjusted export duty stood at 266.5 dollars per ton.
