One person was killed and eight others were missing as an open coal field near a thermic power plant in southeastern Turkey collapsed on Thursday, local media reported.
The collapse, which took place near the Afsin-Elbistan B Thermic Power Plant in the province of Kahramanmaras, killed at least one worker and left the site with some minor landslides, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.
