Vietnam's national flag carrier, the Vietnam Airlines, signed an agreement here on Thursday to officially join the SkyTeam global airline alliance, one of the world's three largest alliance.
The move demonstrates Vietnam Airlines' active participation in the international aviation industry, said Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, adding that it will help Vietnam Airlines expand business scope and improve customer service.
