- Exchange program
on july 21th, 13 students and 2 teachers will leave for cambrige and stay there for a week. next year english students and teachers will visit our city. but this city can not welcome them. because the board of education hasitates to proceed homestay exchange. the commitee needs to avoid the responsibility not only for the foreign students and teachers but also the japanese students who want to go abroad for exchange program. the commitee says english education is important but has to avoid any kind of adventurous trial for itself. yes, for the commitee members. the english students want to visit our city and stay here to learn japanese and japanese cultures next year but we are obliged to refuse them because of the board of education. what shall we do?
