it is very difficult to answer both of questions. in the first tv news, a chinese-american professor answered to cnn that it is very difficult to predict precisely what the china’s situation is like 10 years later, because there are many issues for china to keep current good economical situation in the future. even as a university professor in politics and economy it is difficult to predict, it is much more difficult for general citizen like us to answer. but we can discuss about the topic anyway.

- The real face of Takeshi Kitano
i think takeshi kitano is known as famous and wonderful movie director in the world. he's got some big awards in movie festivals and even the order of arts and letters from fernch government. but actually he started his career as the most dangerous and filthy comedian in the japanese entertainment world.here is the explanation of takeshi kitano from wikipededia. he is also known by his stage name “beat takeshi”. in the 1970s he (takeshi) formed a comic duo with his friend kiyoshi kaneko. they took on the stage names beat takeshi and beat kiyoshi; together referring to themselves as two beat (sometimes romanized as the two beats). this sort of duo stand-up comedy, known as manzai in japan, usually features a great deal of high-speed back-and-forth banter between the two performers. kiyoshi played the straight man (tsukkomi) against takeshi's funny man (boke). in 1976, they performed on television for the first time and became a success, propelling their act onto the national stage. the reason for their popularity had much to do with kitano's material, which was much more risqué than traditional manzai. the targets of his jokes were often the socially vulnerable, including the elderly, the handicapped, the poor, children, women, the ugly and the stupid. complaints to the broadcaster led to censorship of some of kitano's jokes and the editing of offensive dialogue. kitano confirmed in a video interview that he was forbidden to access the nhk studios for five years for having exposed his body during a show when it was totally forbidden. although two beat was one of the most successful acts of its kind during the late '70s and '80s, kitano decided to go solo and the duo was dissolved.why did he such dirty and dangerous comedy? one reason is that was the easiest way to become famous. another reason is he hates japanese shy, closed and traditional mentality. around 1980 in japan, there was big difference between one’s official word and one’s real intention. and also, at that time japanese people wanted black humor which takeshi performed in tv programs. when i was a teenager, i often watched takeshi’s comedy shows on tv. but my father really hated his shows. my father always said to me,“don’t become a stupid and filthy man such as takeshi. he is the worst japanese in the japanese long history.”and many old japanese people, especially parents hated him as the worst entertainer. of course, actually takeshi is very kind person who takes good care of his colleagues, friends and family. here are photos of takeshi. the photo above is dvd package of “oretachi hyoukinzoku” (we are the funny gang). takeshi appears as takechanman (parody of superman). the photo below is takeshi gundan (takeshi corps). many young comedians became pupils of takeshi. takeshi used them in his tv programs and also movies. and here are some scene from his comedy shows. unfortunately, there is neither english version nor subtitle. but i think even foreigner can understand how funny, dangerous and filthy his comedy show is.
