Israel to withhold tax transfer to Palestinians Israeli finance minister said Sunday the treasury had suspended a regular payment of some 300 million shekels (about 88 million U.S. dollars) in taxes and customs fees to the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) until Israel knows that the money will not end up in the hands of Hamas.
Minister Yuval Steinitz's decision to sanction the PNA came in the wake of last week's agreement by Fatah and Hamas to set up a national unity government prior to elections.

Zimbabwe to set up tourism office in Iran Zimbabwe is set to strengthen its ties with Iran by setting up a tourism office in the Islamic republic, The Sunday Mail reported.
This follows a meeting between the Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry Walter Mzembi and the Iranian Vice President Hamid Baghaee, who is also the head of the Cultural Heritage Organization.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 88th Session of the recent United Nations World Tourism Organization Executive Council in Argentina.
