Conmen have invaded Zambia's visa card system and were stealing money online, the Times of Zambia reported on Friday.
Standard Chartered Bank Head of Corporate Affairs Luke Mbewe said customers have lost incomes, salaries and benefits online, but assured that the bank had put in place measures to curb the vice.
Mbewe disclosed this in an interview broadcast on state television the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) on Thursday night.

About 40 people are feared dead after a boat they were traveling in capsized on a lake in northern Zambia, state broadcaster the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation reported Tuesday.
