Intel, the world's leading chip maker, announced Tuesday it inked a cooperation agreement with Tencent, China's largest Internet firm, to cooperate on the development of the open-source mobile operating system MeeGo.
MeeGo, jointly released by Intel and Nokia in February, represents a merger between Intel's Moblin and Nokia's Maemo. MeeGo can operate on devices including smartphones, notebooks and TVs.
