Afghan President Karzai leaves for Russia Afghan President Hamid Karzai at the invitation of his Russian counterpart left for Russian capital Moscow on Thursday, a statement released here by his office said.
During his two-day visit to Moscow, Karzai would hold meeting with President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, discussing bilateral relations including enhancing economic cooperation, war on terror, fighting against illegal drug and situation in the region, the statement further said.
