- Hangzhou Iveco to manufacture Fiat gearboxes
Fiat SpA, Europe's sixth-largest automaker by market share, will locally produce its gearboxes in China, as part of its plan to gain a foothold in the world's biggest automobile market.
The gearboxes will be produced in partnership with the Italian carmaker's Chinese partners - Guangzhou Automobile Group Co Ltd and Hangzhou Advance Gearbox Group Co Ltd, according to listed Hangzhou Advance's statement filed to the Shanghai Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

- Fiat recalls 1,223 imported autos in Chinese mainland
Italian automaker Fiat will recall 1,223 imported vehicles in China's mainland from Wednesday to fix problems that could pose safety risks, China's quality watchdog said Tuesday.
The recall involves the models Fiat Bravo 198 MT and 198 MTA that were imported in 2008 and 2011, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said in a statement on its website.
The statement said the cars were produced between March 20, 2008, and Nov. 8, 2010.

- Unexploded NATO projectile discovered during reconstruction work in Serbia
Workers reconstructing a section of the Fiat automobile complex in the central Serbian city of Kragujevac discovered an unexploded projectile, dating from the NATO bombing of Serbia in 1999, reported Radio Television Serbia ( RTS) on Sunday.
The projectile was uncovered by a bulldozer operator, digging up a section of a parking lot near the entrance of one of the buildings in the original Zastava automobile complex.
