(mainichi japan) june 15, 2011 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- danish crown prince frederik visited to the kansai yacht club on nov 1st-2nd 1997. the crown prince and his father, prince henrik sailed and competed in the interport dragon class regatta for two days. the interport consists of the royal syney yacht club, the royal hongkong yacht club, the royal vancouver yacht club and the kansai yacht club. the prince henrik won the regatta, and the crown prince might be at 4th or 5th place. they were excellent sailors and also very open-hearted. the kansai yacht club and me are still proud of the friendly races and the pleasant party with them during visit. we have no ward to express our gratitude to frererik for the first foreign royal visit. tusind tak
